Cabin crew couple cruise into Denholme development

May. 26, 2017

A jet-setting couple have taken their first step onto the property ladder with ease thanks to developer Prospect Homes.

Luke Cousins and Harriet Flesher recently moved into their new three-bedroom home at Pennine View, a development of 86 homes currently being built off New Road in Denholme.

The couple, who both work at Leeds Bradford airport, managed to reserve, exchange and complete on the purchase of their property within just four weeks, thanks to the helpfulness of the staff at Prospect Homes.

Luke, 20, said: “The team at Prospect Homes have been exceptional with myself and Harriet, from the moment we first walked through the door of the marketing suite to when we picked up our keys, they helped guide us through every step of the homebuying process.

“For us, we believe that people sell through their personalities, and everybody we have dealt with at Prospect have been extremely personable – which ultimately sold us on buying the home at Pennine View.

“We managed to reserve our home and complete just four weeks later, and even since we have moved in the after care service we have received has been fantastic, we couldn’t be happier.”

Luke and Harriet met through their jobs as cabin crew members for a well-known airline company at Leeds Bradford airport, to which they now make the daily commute from Denholme.

The couple purchased a three-bedroom Woodrush house at Pennine View, which they fell in love with on first glance.

Luke said: “We both really enjoy the drive to work from the development as we’re set in a rural area, meaning there’s some lovely countryside views which greet us each morning.

“The commute to work takes around 30 minutes each day, so we’re still close to the larger towns and cities while living in the village. We feel as though we’ve really got the best of both worlds here.”
